After successful, scholarly, and internationally well-attended series of six conferences on Aceh and Indian Ocean (regional) studies and the first conference on islamic studies, the 7th biannual and the 2nd annual conference will be held on 7-9 August 2018 in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, co-organized by the center, and Ar-Raniry State Islamic University. The venue will be in Darussalam Campus of Ar-Raniry.
ICAIOS VII in conjunction with ARICIS II will extend the theme to be some of sub-theme below:
